Zack and his ski instructor SolWe had a fabulous family ski trip to Aspen. We met Matt's family out there and stayed at his brother Steve's house. By the end of the week, Zack was doing awesome at skiing and loving it! He mastered the Magic Carpet and advance to Skittles (the kid's gondola) and even got to go up on the chair lift to ski down with his instructor. On the last day we took Zack up and got to ski a little with him. It was so cool to watch him and see how much he had learned!
The weather was absolutely perfect for spring skiing! It was 40s and sunny on the mountain everyday except our last day. The last day we had 10-12 inches of fresh powder. Awesome snow if you're a pretty good skier (Matt and Steve), hard work if your average like me.
Grandma Jude took care of Alex while we were off having fun. Thanks Grandma! As the week progressed, Alex mastered crawling on his knees (as opposed to the army crawl). Alex will be out on the slopes soon enough (sigh....).
