Happy Valentines Day!

Happy Valentines Day! We had a wonderful, sugar filled day. Zack was the one that melted my heart on Valentines Day. First, he gave his brother his old Curious George stuffed animal (because he knows how much Alex likes George), then he was singing a song and I asked him what he was singing - he told me it was a song about if you give something away how good it makes you feel - I love my kids!

Zoey - 3 months

Zoey is 3 months and has found her smile. She is cooing and is such a snuggle buddy. The boys can hardly keep their hands off her. She is a great baby and is developing a little bit of a schedule - yeah!

Sledding!!!!!!

There have been only a few opportunities to sled this year (not that I'm complaining). Like most kids, my boys absolutely love to sled!

Dance Party!

Dancing can get pretty rough (Zack's new ski helmet).

Total Ham!

The boys love to have dance parties before bed. Alex is our real performer. He has some amazing moves - discount double check, ants in your pants and he has also adapted Uncle Steve's Peanuts dance. They are hilarious to watch!

10 Weeks!

Miss Z is 10 weeks old now! She loves her tongue (as you can see). She is smiling a lot and starting to imitate. Tonight she started batting at her toys on her play mat. Her brothers adore her (most of the time). She is such a sweet little thing. I think we'll keep her!

Merry Christmas!

Zack wrapped up this lovely "pole"(two wrapping paper rolls) and gave it to Grandma.

Alex with his Dinosaur Train and Bat Cave.

Zoey's 1st Christmas morning.

It's tough growing up in Bears country as a Vikings fan (gift from mommy).

The kids had a very exciting Christmas morning. Zack had a very peculiar list for Santa. His number one item was long and short underwear. I don't quite think he has grasped the idea that Santa will bring any reasonable request. The big man did bring him a Nintendo DS along with the underwear. Dare I mention that the long underwear had to be sent via mail to Zack from the North Pole? How does one forget the number one item in the closet? I guess it fell off the sleigh over Russia (at least that is what Santa told Zack). Alex mentioned he was getting a train two days before Christmas. Hummm.... we have a train already? So he got a plastic Dinosaur Train (favorite toy of the day). Zoey was content to just cuddle on Christmas morning. She did manage to get a few presents too.

Christmas Eve 2011

Watching Polar Express

Grandpa and Grandma reading 'The Night Before Christmas.'

Christmas is such a magical time. It is even more magical through the eyes of a five and two year old. We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day at Grandpa Scott and Grandma Jude's house. Christmas Eve was spent playing games and eating lots of food. Before bed the boys set out cookies for Santa and sprinkled reindeer food outside for Santa's reindeer. Grandpa Scott read 'The Night Before Christmas' and the boys anxiously went to bed.
