Spooky Treats

Zack and I were inspired by a friends dessert blog. She had these beautiful cupcakes on her blog and we watched the video on how to make them. Zack was very excited about making them and even more excited about eating them! He is a very good baker. He loves to mix all the ingredients and taste test as we go along. We made homemade frosting which was a first for Zack. He kept telling me that what we were making wasn't frosting. He seemed very confused. Then he explained to me that frosting comes in a can.

Soccer Fun

Here are a couple of pictures of Zack playing soccer. In this game he scored 5 goals. It is pretty funny to watch a bunch of 4/5 year olds play soccer. Half of the kids are really into it and the other half are picking grass. Can you guess which half Zack is?

Pumpkin carving at Zack's school

I braved a pumpkin carving party with very busy one year old and a very eager four year old, by MYSELF. Let's just say we're lucky to have no knife wound injuries. And to be clear, I was the one with the knife. I had one eye on busy little pumpkin Alex and one hand on a very dull knife. Yikes! Here is the beautiful result. Zack was the artist behind this masterpiece.

A week in the life of a four year old and his sidekick...

This is a brief photo editorial of our week. I didn't even include pictures from hockey! Zack stays very busy in lots of activities and Alex stays very entertained/busy at all the venues.

Apple pickin' with my loves

Naughty, Naughty!

Alex is such a busy, busy boy these days. He likes nothing better then climbing on the kitchen table and snacking on various left behind food. Climbing on the table is no problem, but the getting down is quite scary (for mom).

Fingers Crossed (please no broken bones)!

We might be a little crazy with our last purchase. Zack wanted a pair of roller blades. So.... fingers crossed!
