Christmas Eve 2011

Watching Polar Express

Grandpa and Grandma reading 'The Night Before Christmas.'

Christmas is such a magical time. It is even more magical through the eyes of a five and two year old. We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day at Grandpa Scott and Grandma Jude's house. Christmas Eve was spent playing games and eating lots of food. Before bed the boys set out cookies for Santa and sprinkled reindeer food outside for Santa's reindeer. Grandpa Scott read 'The Night Before Christmas' and the boys anxiously went to bed.

Zack and Jacob

We were able to celebrate Christmas with my mom on the 23rd. She had all her kids and grandchildren together. Always supper chaotic, but we had a great time being together. The kids had a blast opening presents and putting together a dance party for the grown-ups to watch.

Christmas Card Pictures

It was very comical this year trying to get the Christmas card picture. With two ornery boys and a baby with a bobble head, I'm lucky I got what I did! I think I took around 150 pictures!

Zoey's 1st bath

Zoey enjoyed her first bath. There were minimal tears. Zack was our big helper. He took his roll very seriously. Both the boys are such awesome big brothers and they are so proud of their baby sister.

And 3 makes perfect - Welcome Zoey Elizabeth!

We joyfully welcomed Zoey Elizabeth to the Huebsch clan on November 9th. She was born at 8:36 pm, weighed 6lbs 15 oz and was 20 inches long. She is perfect and we are all in love. Big brothers Zack and Alex are so excited to have a baby sister. Zack loves to hold Zoey and Alex just giggles when she moves.

Leaves, Leaves, Leaves

The boys had a blast on Saturday raking leaves and jumping in/throwing them at each other. It was complete entertainment watching them have so much fun.

Trick-or-Treat

The boys had a great time on Halloween night. Our neighborhood is lined with kids. Zack ran from house to house with his neighborhood buddies and Alex walked half the block before calling it quits. The highlights this year were the cotton candy machine, popcorn machine and getting another hockey puck from the owner of the Blackhawks (NHL team).

Pumpkin Carving

It's a Great Day For Hockey!

Hockey is in full swing. Zack has hockey practice on Saturday mornings and games on Sunday. He also has a skating class on Tuesday mornings. He is really getting good! It is amazing to see how fast he gets around the rink.

Zack's school had a fun run for the kids on Sunday. Zack had a blast running around with his friends from school. Alex enjoyed having daddy chase him around the park. The picture above is the only time he stayed in one place so I could get a picture. He is very busy!

2011 Pumpkin Patch

We went to the pumpkin patch on Sunday. It was a very WINDY day. I have to admit with all the wind, I was a bit nervous while the boys were on the carnival rides. This pumpkin patch had baby animals which Alex loved. He also enjoyed a ride down the slide with daddy. Zack could have done rides all day long. He is ready for a Disney World vacation. We even managed to find a few pumpkins before we left.
