Zack had his first day of school last week. He is at a new school this year. The school is perfectly located 4 blocks from our house. There are lots of neighborhood friends in his class. He seems to like it so far. The most information I get out of him is what he did or didn't have for snack. Zack is also busy this Fall with soccer (twice a week), gymnastics, tennis and lacrosse. Hockey starts at the beginning of October. He loves to stay busy and we love for him to burn off all that 5 year old energy.
Alex started "school" this week. He goes once a week for 90 minutes. He did great with being dropped off. They played, read stories, did a craft and ate a snack. Alex is also in gymnastics and wishes he was in soccer! During Zack's soccer practice Alex sometimes becomes a moving obstacle.

Hard to believe another year has come and gone too quickly. Zack is now a five year old! He has such amazing energy and we enjoy every second with him. He is a wonderful big brother, teaching his little brother the best naughty tricks only big brothers know.

We had Zack's 5 year old birthday party last week at the bowling ally. Nine silly boys joined Zack to celebrate, plus a couple of two year olds and a one year old (all boys). The kids did great and Zack had a blast! Zack even rolled a strike!

We spent a week in the Ozarks this year with Matt's family. We had a great time boating, swimming, noodling, riding the wave runner, fishing, roasting s'mores, tubing, and Zack even attempted water skiing. What wonderful lake memories the boys will have forever!

Happy 4th of July!

Grandma Jude had lots of props for a very fun 4th of July celebration. The boys loved the costumes! We had a great celebration and finished the night with a Grandpa Scott fireworks extravaganza and s'mores.

Happy 2nd Birthday Alex! - Part 2

We spent Alex's 2nd Birthday this year at Grandma and Grandpa's lake house in the Ozarks. We had a wonderful celebration! Alex loved all the attention and really loved his cake and ice cream.
