I have to say that when you're child learns to ride a bike all by themselves, it is a very proud moment for both child and parent. We are thrilled to announce that Zack officially rides his bike unassisted (2 months before turning 5).

Love this weather!

When the weather is nice you can find the Huebsch boys happily playing and eating outside. Zack requested a table cloth for this particular evenings feast. Really he just wanted to put a towel down, but I thought the table cloth would be a nice touch to their fancy chicken nugget meal. Hopefully this is one of many meals enjoyed outside this summer!

T-ball

Zack has really enjoyed his first t-ball season. He is on a team with his buddies from school. Whenever the ball is hit (no matter what position he is playing) he runs as fast as he can to try to get the ball. He loves to practice in the backyard. We're working on keeping his hands together when he hits. After a long winter playing hockey (hands are spaced when holding a hockey stick), holding a bat is a bit unnatural. It is really fun to see his excitement when he is playing.

Marco Island - Spring 2011

The little boys and I spent a week in Florida with the Muller gang. Zack and Alex got to hang with all their cousins on the beach and at the pool. The days consisted of going to the beach, playing backgammon, going on lizard hunts, playing at the pool, playing basketball, cards (garbage, nuts and Texas hold em) and nightly dance parties. At the end of the day the boys collapsed into bed. We had such a fun trip and the weather was perfect (80s and sunny).

Aspen 2011

We has a wonderful ski trip to Aspen/Snowmass last week. The weather was gorgeous and Zack had a blast at ski school. He is a level 4 superstar skier! He quickly passed out of level 2 and 3 on the first day. He took numerous chair lifts and even skied a blue with daddy and uncle Steve. Alex, sadly was sick the whole week with a nasty cold and ear infection. Grandma Jude stayed home with him and they kept busy with books, stroller rides and playing with Scout (Steve's dog). On the way to the airport, Zack kept telling us he didn't want to leave Colorado - we know buddy!
