We celebrated Memorial Day with our good friends and their boys. We grilled out and had lots of fun playing outside. All the little boys played so well together.
Wow, sorry for the long delay in updating the blog. We have been very, very busy these last couple of weeks. Zack finished school before Memorial Day weekend and then we traveled to the Ozarks (Grandma Jude and Grandpa Scott's lake house). We have had a gorgeous Spring and have spent a lot of time outside enjoying our new backyard. Zack, as you can see, loves the privacy of our backyard and tries to wear clothes as little as possible. Alex now enjoys all table food and will even clean up after Zack (hence the two popsicles).
I got to celebrate Mother's Day a couple days early with Zack's preschool class. All the moms were invited and the kiddos did a special performance and served us yummy treats. We also received beautiful painted pots (by the kids) of basil. Zack did a great job singing. It was a very special day!
We had a great weekend! Zack scored a new tandem bike to ride with his dad. The smile on his face is priceless. Zack didn't want Alex to miss out on the fun, so he thought a ride in the toy wagon would be perfect. Alex loved it! The last picture of Zack smiling was after a bribe. I told Zack if he sat and smiled I would give him a Twizzler. As evident by the picture, the kid will do about anything for a piece of candy.
