It's a great day for hockey!

Zack is in hockey once a week and his Daddy takes him to skate on Saturday mornings. He seems to really enjoy his time out on the ice. He always comes off the ice with a giant smile. It looks like I'm destined to suffer through some cold hockey seasons. I'll love every minute of it!

Thanksgiving fun with the cousins

Movie night!

Aunt Meagan and Alex

We traveled to Iowa for Thanksgiving. Zack and Alex had a blast with their cousins. Above are a few pictures of Zack and his cousin Jacob. We took the boys to the Iowa Children's Museum. They have a wonderful airplane exhibit that the boys love.

Huebsch Family Thanksgiving

We hosted the Huebsch Family for Thanksgiving a couple weeks ago. It was really fun to have everyone together. Matt's brother Steve was able to fly in from Aspen to spend the weekend with us. Great Grandpa Chilly, Great Grandpa Tony and Great Grandma Sue also made the trip from Iowa. Zack had such a blast with all his grandparents. The weather was beautiful. We were even able to sucker the older boys into cleaning out our gutters.

4 months and GROWING....

Yikes, has it really been 4 months already? My giant baby is getting BIGGER. Stats for the 4 month appointment: weight - 17lbs 5oz (90-95 %) and 27 3/8 inches long (>95%). My doctor told me he is about the size of a 7 month old. Where did this baby come from? I don't know, but I'm keeping him. He has such a sweet disposition. He continues to try very hard to roll from his back to tummy. I'll let everyone know when the big event happens. We started him on rice cereal yesterday, but then I forgot to give it to him today. Not quite in the routine yet.

Zack continues to love his baby brother very much. We're settling into our new life in the burbs nicely. Zack has lots of friends and seems to really enjoy school, hockey and gymnastics.

Happy Halloween!

Before the big Trick-or-Treat outing

Go Hawks!

Yikes!

Candy, Candy, Candy! I have so much candy leftover. Having just moved to the suburbs, I had no idea how many trick-or-treaters to expect. I bought 7 giant bags and have about 5 giant bags left. Zack is in candy heaven.
We had a wonderful Halloween with the boys. As you can see, Zack was a Hawkeye football player and Alex was a football. Zack loved going door to door for treats, but wanted me to say trick-or-treat. He kept saying "you say it." One of the highlights from the night was the cotton candy machine down the street. It was pretty hilarious to watch Zack attempt to eat the cotton candy with his helmet on. Alex made it to a few houses to show off his costume, but spent most of the chilly evening inside passing out candy with Grandpa Scott and Grandma Jude.
Last night Matt and I went to a costume party. Zack thought we looked very silly. It was pretty funny driving to the party in my banana costume. Happy Halloween!
