Crazy times with cousin Jacob

Bethany, Nathan and Jacob were in town last weekend. Zack and Jacob had lots of fun playing together. Zack loved to be right up in Jacob's face. Not so sure Jacob enjoyed the constant attention (LOL). They played well for the most part and argued like they were brothers the other part.

This is usually how pictures go. Thing 1 is wild and Thing 2 I have a feeling will be following in his brother's footsteps. These adorable shirts are from Chris and Erik Madsen (Scott and Jude's friends from CR). They got these for the boys when they were in Florida watching their daughter audition for American Idol.

Finally... a family picture!

Yes, we're Vikings fans. I'm hoping my boys don't get beat up sporting their purple jerseys here in Bears country. We had a wonderful weekend. We had friends over to grill on Saturday and Sunday. We are working on recruiting friends to the suburbs.

Well we are finally getting settled in our new house. We made the move to the suburbs (Wilmette) over a week ago. It will be an adjustment for all of us. We love having a playroom, yard and laundry room. Zack starts at his new preschool in a week. We have a ton of kids on our block and are meeting lots of nice neighbors. I'll post pictures of our new house in a couple days.

5 week and getting BIG!

Our big boy is getting bigger. He weighed in at 12 pounds 2 ounces at his one month appointment! Zack continues to love his baby brother and wants to shower him with kisses all the time. Life with two boys is always exciting. Matt and I are so lucky to have our boys.

Happy 3rd Birthday Zack!

Zack had a wonderful 3rd birthday! We had a pool party with his friends and after swimming we had a picnic lunch in the park. The kiddos all seemed to have a great time. Everyone enjoyed the cupcakes after lunch. Looking back, blue icing probably wasn't the best choice for a bunch of 3 year olds. For dinner Zack got to go to his favorite burger joint, Five Guys and custard at Scooters. It was a fun and food filled day.
